| Forest View Primary offers an after-school care facility, run privately by Karin Hunter. Karin has been running Forest View Primary School's after care facility for about fourteen years, and has a wealth of care and experience to share. Structure After care is open throughout the term from 12:30 to 17:15. Children from Grade R to Grade 7 are welcome to join. Homework is supervised, so children are sure to get their homework done. The afternoon is centred around free play - it is not school. There are facilities for painting, drawing, play dough, blocks and so forth. They have sandwiches, juice and biscuits every day. Later in the afternoons, children are encouraged to use the school fields to work off their energy. On Friday afternoons in warmer weather, the children are taken to the school pool for some exercise and to cool down. In winter, Friday afternoons are Movie Time! There are four adults supervising the children at all times. The idea is to ensure that children are kept safe and supervised. Fees For fee information, please contact the school.
